Our 2025 Favorite Asheville Storage Projects

Every year, we’re lucky to collaborate with incredible homeowners, builders, and designers across Asheville and Western North Carolina. In 2025, those partnerships resulted in some truly standout storage projects. These spaces don’t just look beautiful, but they function seamlessly for real, everyday life.

This collection highlights a few of our favorite installs from the past year. These projects reflect thoughtful design, intentional storage planning, and a team of people who understand that how a home functions matters just as much as how it looks.

Read through our favorite things from 2025 below:

1. When All Closet Walls Work Harder

Some of our favorite closets from 2025 weren’t about adding more space, but about using space better. By designing storage across every available wall and even around existing windows, we transformed closets into thoughtfully balanced environments where everything has a purpose and a place.

This approach improves visibility, creates natural zones for daily routines, and eliminates the clutter that comes from underutilized corners. When storage wraps the room instead of stopping short, the result is a closet that feels calmer, more functional, and far easier to live with.

2. When Small Spaces Hold Big Opportunity

Unused nooks and underutilized rooms became some of the most impactful projects of 2025. With custom Murphy beds, these spaces transformed into flexible rooms that adapt to changing needs.

Home offices doubled as guest rooms. Bonus spaces gained purpose. Thoughtful design turned square footage that once felt awkward into some of the most functional areas of the home.

3. When Utility Rooms Actually Lighten the Load

Laundry and utility organization may never be anyone’s favorite task, but a well-designed laundry room or garage can make it feel far less overwhelming. This year, we loved creating spaces for laundry and utility that support better flow, smarter storage, and a sense of calm.

In laundry specifically,  designated areas for folding, hanging, sorting, and storage, these rooms were designed to make cleaning clothes feel less like a chore and more like a manageable part of everyday life. Using a pop of color for garage utility storage turned an overlooked space into a workman’s heaven. It’s the little things that end up making huge day-to-day differences.

Intention tied all of our favorite 2025 projects together. These spaces weren’t designed just to look good; they were designed to function beautifully for the people who live in them. We’re grateful to the homeowners and partners who trusted us with these installs, and we look forward to continuing to create storage solutions that make Asheville homes work better!
